We’re looking for a Manager, Marketing Analytics

Responsible for driving data-driven decision-making, providing strategic guidance, and overseeing the implementation of advanced analytics solutions. Consult and support the alignment of marketing efforts with business goals, optimizing marketing strategies and tactics.

How you will make an impact:

  • Lead and direct the marketing analytics function, overseeing the entire data analysis process from data collection to reporting, and ensuring the delivery of comprehensive insights on marketing performance, customer behavior, and campaign effectiveness

  • Collaborate closely with the marketing leaders to align marketing strategies with broader business objectives, providing data-driven recommendations to enhance revenue growth, customer acquisition, and retention

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for marketing campaigns and initiatives. Create and deliver regular, comprehensive reports to relevant stakeholders, illustrating the impact of marketing efforts on business goals.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing data strategy to capture, analyze, and interpret data from various sources, including website analytics, CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, social media, and other marketing channels.

  • Develop and implement a robust analytics framework and data strategy, establishing key metrics, attribution models, and performance benchmarks to measure marketing effectiveness and optimize ROI

  • Partner with cross-functional teams as needed to align on goals, leverage data insights, and drive cohesive strategies that maximize business outcomes

  • Oversee marketing data between various platforms and systems and maintaining data integrity and accuracy

  • Drive the development and implementation of advanced analytics and visualization solutions, leveraging third-party tools and platforms

  • Lead the exploration and adoption of new analytical methodologies, data sources, and emerging technologies to enhance marketing analytics capabilities and stay ahead of industry trends

  • Leadership & People Management

  • Perform general management responsibilities such as hiring, performance management, performance reviews, individual development activities, etc.

  • Monitor team performance against department standards, and ensure that these standards are consistently met or exceeded

  • Assisting in disciplinary decisions and action

  • Act as escalation point for issues and provide leadership and guidance to team

  • Provide necessary work direction and manage projects effectively through planning, organization and project management

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience

  • 7+ years in data analytics, engineering, or data management in Marketing functions

  • 5+ years of experience with analytic techniques, statistical modeling, and web analytics

  • Ability to extract meaningful information from data, including suggesting action for improvement for marketing teams.

  • Expert in reporting tools and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or others, including Excel

  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success

  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

  • Must be able to lawfully work within the Canada and have unrestricted work authorization for Canada

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Google Analytics

  • Experience with Cloud platforms a plus (AWS, Google Cloud Platform)
